Pick a favorite, copy its prompt, and swap in a punchline of your own.

1. The Corporate Cat

The corporate cat has cracked the productivity code: sit back, look important, and conserve energy. The smug expression is the whole punchline.

Create Your AI Meme →

Copy this AI meme prompt:

<rect x="8" y="8" width="12" height="12" rx="2" fill="none" stroke="currentColor" stroke-width="2"/>

Create a photorealistic internet meme of a fluffy orange cat wearing a business suit, relaxing in an office chair with its paws on the desk. The cat looks extremely smug and lazy. Add the exact caption "I'M NOT LAZY" at the top and "I'M JUST IN ENERGY SAVING MODE" at the bottom. Use bold white Impact-style lettering with a thick black outline. Square 1:1 format.

2. Bickering Cat Couple

Two cozy cats, one very unnecessary argument. Use speech bubbles to make the misunderstanding the punchline.

Copy this AI meme prompt:

<rect x="8" y="8" width="12" height="12" rx="2" fill="none" stroke="currentColor" stroke-width="2"/>

Create a photorealistic comedic scene of two cats arguing on a cozy sofa. On the left, a fluffy white cat in a pink bathrobe points one paw dramatically at a brown tabby on the right, who is wrapped in a blue blanket and holding a TV remote. Use large, clear comic speech bubbles: the white cat says 'WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT YOUR ATTITUDE!' and the tabby replies 'I LITERALLY JUST EXIST...' Warm evening lighting, 4:3 landscape.

3. Dog Power Bark

Turn a tiny dog’s everyday barking into an absurd anime superpower. Comic typography suits this style better than standard meme captions.

Copy this AI meme prompt:

<rect x="8" y="8" width="12" height="12" rx="2" fill="none" stroke="currentColor" stroke-width="2"/>

Create an epic anime-style meme featuring a tiny fluffy Pomeranian wearing a dramatic red superhero cape, barking from a rocky mountain ledge. The bark sends energetic shockwaves across a brilliant blue sky; use manga speed lines and dynamic perspective. Add the exact caption 'LIFE IS SHORT.' at the top and 'BARK LOUDER.' at the bottom in bold yellow-and-white comic lettering with a heavy black outline. 3:2 landscape.

4. Raccoon HOA Meeting

A suburban committee chaired by raccoons feels ridiculous and strangely believable. The humor comes from treating nonsense with complete seriousness.

Copy this AI meme prompt:

<rect x="8" y="8" width="12" height="12" rx="2" fill="none" stroke="currentColor" stroke-width="2"/>

Create a photorealistic, absurdly serious suburban homeowners association meeting held by five raccoons around an outdoor patio table at dusk. One raccoon wears reading glasses, another takes notes, and the chairperson wears a tiny red tie. Papers, mugs, and a small agenda board suggest a real committee meeting. Add the top caption 'HOA MEETING' and the bottom caption 'ANY OTHER BUSINESS?' in bold white meme lettering with black outlines. 4:3 landscape.

5. Monday Morning Selfie

An ordinary bedroom selfie becomes an all-too-relatable morning mood: bigger bed hair, a full coffee mug, a phone crowded with notifications, and a joke that needs no explanation.

Copy this AI meme prompt (upload a selfie first):

<rect x="8" y="8" width="12" height="12" rx="2" fill="none" stroke="currentColor" stroke-width="2"/>

Turn this selfie into a funny, exaggerated Monday-morning meme. Keep the same woman's face, hair color, pose, and bedroom selfie composition. Make her look even more exhausted and unbothered, with messier hair, half-open sleepy eyes, and a dramatic "I just woke up" expression. Add subtle chaos in the scene, like a coffee mug, a phone with too many notifications, and morning light. Add the exact caption "ME PRETENDING I'M READY FOR THE DAY" in bold white Impact-style text with a thick black outline. Square 1:1 format.

6. The Eternal Meeting

A dog stuck on an endless video call is instantly relatable. Keep the meeting details simple so the exhausted expression remains the focus.

Copy this AI meme prompt:

<rect x="8" y="8" width="12" height="12" rx="2" fill="none" stroke="currentColor" stroke-width="2"/>

Create a photorealistic meme of a tired golden retriever wearing glasses, a white office shirt, and a loosely knotted tie, staring blankly over an open laptop during a video meeting. Behind the dog, a screen displays several equally bored animal colleagues in a grid. Add the caption 'ANOTHER MEETING?' in bold white outlined lettering at the top. Workplace humor, subtle morning office light, 3:2 landscape.

7. My Brain at 3 AM

When your brain decides midnight is the perfect time for a party, subtle imagery won’t do. A cartoon-brain DJ makes an invisible feeling impossible to miss.

Copy this AI meme prompt:

<rect x="8" y="8" width="12" height="12" rx="2" fill="none" stroke="currentColor" stroke-width="2"/>

Create a funny surreal photorealistic meme: a wide-eyed woman lies awake under a duvet in a dark bedroom while a giant floating pink cartoon brain wearing headphones and sunglasses DJs at a glowing miniature turntable overhead. Neon violet music waves and small worry bubbles fill the air. Try a shorter caption or regenerate if a word comes out wrong.

FAQs About Making AI Memes

Can I make AI memes from a photo?

Yes. Use an image-to-image workflow, upload your reference photo, and describe what should change. Identity and pose consistency can vary between generations.

Can AI put meme text on the image?

Some image models can render captions directly when you quote the exact wording and specify its position. Always check spelling, punctuation, and readability before sharing.

Which image size works best for an AI meme?

Square images are useful for many feeds, while 3:2 or 4:3 landscape formats suit two-panel jokes and wider scenes. Choose the size that makes the visual punchline easiest to understand.

Can I create AI memes for free?

That depends on the tool, selected model, and current usage limits. Check the options shown in the generator before creating your image.

How can I make an AI meme funnier?

Build the joke around a specific feeling or situation, then choose the strongest visual exaggeration. Short captions, expressive subjects, and an unexpected twist usually work better than a crowded picture.

How to Make AI Memes from Text or Photos?

You can create an original meme from a description or transform a photo you already have. Here are the two workflows used for the examples above.

Method 1: Make AI Memes from Text Prompts

01

Choose your image generator.

Open PhotoGrid’s AI Image Generator and choose a model that can render text within images.
